James McLynas for Sheriff of Pinellas County

James McLynas

For Sheriff of

Pinellas County Florida

This election for Pinellas County Sheriff is the most important vote you will cast. It will determine the level of freedom you have for the next four years!

About James McLynas

I have spent my life advocating for consumer protection issues and fighting for what is right. I was born in New York city and raised in the tough neighborhoods of Detroit, so I have witnessed firsthand the grittier side of life. From a young age I saw for myself the corrupt police in action on the streets of Detroit. This early interaction had impacted me to the point that I have always watched, researched, rallied against and in some cases experienced the corruption first-hand due to the assertion of my constitutionally protected rights. Constitutional rights are something the police industry seems to have a problem with.

Starting out with little, I managed to establish and run several successful businesses including a national vehicle inspection company. I fought major insurance companies like State Farm, helping to bring civil action against the insurance giant for failing to properly repair their insured’s vehicles. This resulted in a billion dollar plus settlement in the case of Mabry v State Farm in Georgia and the ongoing protection of millions of people. I even had a write-up in Smart Money magazine regarding my business ventures.
